Nitin Mantri

Taking risks is a quality that innovators must have and that is second nature for Nitin. In 2006, Nitin left a successful job as Director of Brodeur Worldwide (a part of Omnicon and now Ketchum) and returned to India after seven years in London to join a startup called Avian WE, which then had 10 employees and a handful of clients. In a few years, Nitin set the template for year-on-year growth. Today, Avian has 186 employees, 100 clients and six offices in India, and has become one of the top 10 fastest-growing consultancies in the world (The Holmes Report, 2017).

Nitin’s experience of over two decades in diverse sectors, and his ability to mitigate crisis and train the C-suite in managing the media have helped Avian win clients for life. He has conducted media training workshops on behalf of several clients. He has an interactive style of training, and also uses case studies. For crisis training workshops, he creates live simulations if needed.

Along with his business partner Nikhil Khanna, Nitin founded Chase India, an associate company of Avian, in 2011 to work on public policy mandate for leading Indian and multinational companies.
