If there is one defining mantra for AvianWE, it is our passion to create an institution that lives far, far beyond the people who founded it. In that employee engagement is key. We follow a simple three-step Mentoring-Rewarding-Fun process to foster a spirit of trust and involvement in our workers, and, help them feel aligned with the company’s broader purpose.

We also like to drag our employees outside their comfort zones and unlock their potential. How? By diversifying our workforce. We’ve hired chefs, engineers, dancers, lifestyle bloggers, mummy bloggers, daddy bloggers, fitness gurus, public policy experts, artists, designers, professional photographers (some seriously amateur ones) and others from outside the PR bubble. This creates a culture of learning and great collaboration, and gives our clients a team rich with experience and expertise.

We learn, we get rewarded, and we have fun too

We invest a lot of time and resources to help our workers succeed in their careers. Our induction programme, SEED, has evolved into a robust, year-long plan to bring in and groom young talent. We also have training programmes for existing employees in all levels that are conducted by both internal and external trainers. Our current leadership is a result of a mentoring programme that aims at shaping future leaders.

Each year, we recognise good work at our internal awards, the ACE Awards, that comes complete with red-carpet, live (and wild) performances, tears, cheers and very heavy heads the morning after. The ACE Awards has been witnessing a significant increase in the number of entries each year, which shows how competitive our staff is becoming in showing the results we’re delivering for our clients. We often combine ACE Awards with offsites, which help our employees from across the country to bond.
